POL Prize winner, S. Brook Corfman, announced as a Finalist for the Publishing Triangle’s Trans and Gender-Variant Literature Award

 S. Brook Corfman’s poetry book, My Daily Actions, or the Meteorites, won the 2018-2019 POL Prize, and is now a finalist for the Publishing Triangle’s Trans and Gender-Variant Literature Award,

It will be competing against The Death of Vivek Oji, by Akwaeke Emezi (Riverhead Books); Trans Care, by Hil Malatino (University of Minnesota Press); and We Want It All: An Anthology of Radical Trans Poetry, by Andrea Abi-Karam and Kay Gabriel (Nightboat Books). The winner will be announced, along with prizes in nine other categories, virtually (on our website and via social media; with a press release sent out) on May 12, 2021.  Their book, My Daily Actions, or the Meteorites, is a finalist for this prestigious award, which carries a $1,000 cash prize.
