WHY can’t people illustrate who they REALLY are?

WHY do people want to SHOW-OFF for things like FACEBOOK?

WHY do people get PLASTIC SURGERY and look, anything

OTHER than their BIRTH?

DOES being PRETTY...really HURT?

WHY can’t people STAND OUT?

EVERYBODY just wants to FIT IN

NO MATTER how HARD you try for that AUDITION,

SOMETIMES you just won't get in.

WHY can’t people SHOW-OUT more?

THEY do say LIFE is OPEN DOOR,

but, WHY do OTHERS say LIFE's a bore?

When in LIFE, all they wanna do is EXPLORE?

DON'T they wanna just see what’s in STORE?

WHY does EVERYTHING have to be a MASQUERADE?

you SHOW what you CAN DO, but then you HIDE your face?

PEOPLE just want to ENTERTAIN but they’re really in PAIN

SO, what’s their AIM, what prize are they trying to CLAIM?

WHY are people the MASTERS of DISGUISE?

leaving everything a SURPRISE,

WHEN there’s nothing to hide

this is a BEAUTIFUL WORLD, with a sense of SERENITY

but even SHE may never know

why WE can’t show OUR TRUE IDENTITY.
